Directions:
Use your heart punch to cut out as many hearts as you need for your cupcakes. We used red and pink to stay with the Valentine’s Day theme. You could also make them pastel colors to look like conversation heart candies.
Get out your alphabet stamps and silver stamp pad and stamp small words onto your hearts. We went with “XOXO” and “LOVE” because it was the amount of room we had on our hearts. Depending on the size of your alphabet stamps and hearts, you could make bigger words like “SWEET” or “KISS ME”.
Cut your paper straws in half and them tape them to the back of your hearts. You could also use toothpicks if you don’t have any paper straws. I loved the looked of the polka-dot tan straws we had.
Now simply push them down into the middle of your cupcakes and you have a perfect, festive and beautiful Valentine’s Day treat. To add a special touch, we also used pink heart cupcake liners to dress up our cupcake liners.
